I know this is my bio and it is supposed to be all about me and I will get to some of that here shortly, but if you are reading this and are considering a career in real estate, it really should be more about you! I will share information with you about me not to brag, but to hopefully help you come to the conclusion that you can trust me to help you get to the destination you want to be. That I have the mindset and values that align with yours. That I have the experience and support you need to help you grow. I want you to be able to answer this question; “Can you trust me to be your guide?”

There are hundreds of brokers, managers and companies you can work for and while you are looking at me and Russell Real Estate Services, I will be looking at you. You see, I really want you to make sure the company and I are a good fit for you and I too want to make sure you are a good fit for the company and me as well. If we are not that is OK, I urge you to spend more time on this decision than almost any other because this decision alone can have a huge effect on your career and your future. If it is not a good fit, failure is almost a guarantee.

When I say this career is about you, I am totally serious. Only you can make the choices. You are the decision-maker when it comes to your life and your career. You make the decisions on where you want to go…what that will look like… sound like… and what that will feel like. As your coach and guide, it is my job to help you get there. My responsibility is to help you learn what you don’t know. That involves helping you develop new skills, new processes and to also keep you from making mistakes.

My thirst for knowledge and “CANI” philosophy (Constant And Never-ending Improvement) as Tony Robbins coined it- is for you. I expect nothing more from you than I expect from myself. I want to earn the right to be your guide, to be part of your success to be the best you can be, even better than me!

I have worked in the market when interest rates were at their highest. I have worked in the market when it bottomed out. I am in a “pandemic market” right now that I never even considered a possibility, and I cannot tell you when that will change, if ever, right now. My years of experience in overseeing thousands of transactions over the last 34+ years, permits me to share what I know with you, so you can achieve the goals you want to achieve even in today’s market!

Even with all that training and experience, I don’t know everything, nor have I experienced everything; but I know where to find the answers and can help coach you to reach the heights that you choose. Phil Jackson was one of the greatest coaches there ever was, but as great as he was, he could not play or be one of the greatest players of all time - Michael Jordan. He could never have taken the ball and played it better or as good! I would be your coach, your guide, and I will help you find the rocks under the water’s surface. The one thing I cannot make the play or do the work for you! Yes I said work, this career is simple, but it is not easy!

I first became licensed in 1987 and in 1995 at age 29, I became one of the youngest real estate brokers ever licensed in the State of Ohio. I am currently an active Broker-Manager-Coach with Russell Real Estate Services. In 2018, I graduated from the top program created by LeadingRE for leaders called MAESTRO. The intensive leadership training was completed over several months, deepening my role as a broker, manager and coach to help me find and develop real estate agents that truly want to be a part of our great culture and success. Very few qualify to get the opportunity, let alone graduate from this one-of-a-kind program. In 2018, LeadingRE was #1 in Training Magazine’s Prestigious Top 125 the number one training organization out of 125 other companies in the world. (It is still in the top almost every year). This honor is not just exclusive to the real estate industry, but many huge corporations like Nationwide, Mastercard, Aetna Inc., Anthem Inc., Best Buy, Walmart and many more!

More recently I have completed even more designations and certifications specific to the real estate industry. The SRES designation and the PSA certification. There are only a handful of brokers in the state that have the qualifications and experience that I have to help you in your real estate career. I am striving to be the best Broker and Leader I can be every day and to be a great example for my industry and team. I could go on and on and bore you with even more, but I won’t here anyway.
